Just like there are many different types of labels and brands for
different demographics and tastes, there are different types of
Stylists.
I am a 'Personal Stylist' or if you will an 'Image
Consultant'.
I am passionate about working with women and
helping them to find their 'Personal Style' and assist them with what
garment shapes and styles to wear that are 'age appropriate', 'budget
appropriate' and 'confidence appropriate'. Just because the magazines
and trends say its 'in fashion' doesn't mean its going to suit you or
your bank balance!
I'm not necessarily a 'BRANDS & LABELS'
stylist as I personally think many of them are over priced and the
quality isn't there...and to only wear for one season? NO....I encourage
my clients to spend and invest on their essentials (suiting, knitwear,
dresses .etc.) and then build the remaining of the wardrobe with
seasonal items that won't necessarily be out of fashion next season. I
build a story for my clients, items that mix and match and have a colour
palette that suits them. Plus what I call a 'REAL WOMAN' doesn't care
for a wardrobe full of BRANDS/LABELS- they don't define who she is...she
just wants to feel a mix of beautiful, youth, sophistication, classic,
comfortable, feminine .etc. in her own right despite of what the TAG
says.
I am the 'REAL WOMAN's Stylist!
I work with women
predominately 30-70 and understand working wardrobes, post baby bodies,
post menopause bodies, dating wardrobes and know which 'main stream'
stores to take my clients to. They are never disappointed!
I understand my clients because I too am a REAL WOMAN......
I am a mum of a gorgeous 1 year old boy, I have a household to run, I
want to feel worthy, I work part time, I have goals, I want to travel
and treat myself to nice things, I want savings, I want to belong, I
want to be independent, I want to be respected, I want to feel
beautiful, sexy, elegant and strong all at the same time .etc. Isn't
this most REAL WOMEN's needs?
So for me it's not a job to
guide women with 'what to wear' and 'how to tap into their inner
confidence through style'... its a passion!
I'm so blessed
that I've been able to take my fashion industry experience in buying,
retail and designing and apply it to building confidence in women of all
ages. Twice/three times a week either I'm invited into clients homes
for STYLE PARTY's or I'm taking Women shopping or sorting their wardrobes out.
This is what I offer. This is me.
